Restorative Yoga

8 Recorded Practices Available for 6 Months

Restorative Yoga is a deeply nourishing, healing and recuperative practice for the mind and body. During each class we will use props and blankets to support the body in simple yoga poses which triggers the parasympathic nervous system to achieve a deep level of relaxation. This calming practice releases tense muscles, relieves joint aches, and transitions the mind and body giving one a sense of peace and calm.

In these sessions you will be taught Restorative Yoga poses , relaxation techniques, breath work and how to use props to assist the body in relaxation.

‘In Restorative classes I enjoy sharing poetry, guiding meditations and yoga nidra. This all creates a space where students can allow themselves to just be.’

Restorative classes are suitable for everybody and often especially nice for those who regularly work-out, creating balance. Sometimes we need to be guided and given permission to stop and rest.  These are suitable for those recovering from illness or for anyone under stress or dealing with a busy life.
